This restaurant was small but the food was good. Yes it would be better to order your pupusas in advance however if you're going to eat it at the restaurant of course there will be a wait. The waiter was nice and attended us well. I would recommend this place if you're in town or want some Salvadoran food.
The pupusas are a good size one itself will probably start to get you full. My boyfriend got the revueltas pupusas and he got full off of one and some of the beans and rice he got as a side order. I got all cheese pupusas and one and a half was enough for me. -

We were visiting family in Hanford and found this place while consulting Yelp. We had a great pupuseria at home but sadly they closed. So this was a treat to find. And - it's better than our old place! We ate in, though it looks like they do a lot of takeout. Wonderful drink options - we tried the horchata, Jamaica, and tamarindo at our table, and had several different pupusas as well as chicharrones and yucca, platanos con crema, and chicken pies. Everything was tasty. We definitely ordered too much. Next time I'd nix the chicken pies as we enjoyed the other items better. Their curtido and salsa were both excellent. Check this place out - or if you're at the Thursday night marketplace, they sell pupusas there too. I snapped a photo when I saw them out there because I forgot to before eating
Update from August 2019: still awesome. Come support this delicious local business. -

I love Pupusas !!!!!! And Toti's did not disappoint..... cute location and restaurant clean and colorful.... had my crew with me (mom, daughter, and my small gremlin who is 2) and we are foodies!!!
So let's get down to the nitty gritty (Nacho Libre Voice )
We ordered a variety of Pupusas, revueltas, Loroco, and chicharron. The masa was soft and flavorful love the fact that they were cooked just right with a good amount of Curtido which is a mix of cabbage, carrots and onion which is pickled in vinegar... again also fresh... we also orders the pastelitos which remind me of chicken empanadas which were fried to perfection and a side of platanos!!!!!!! Perfectly cooked not soggy with a side of crema...... but the thing a I was soo happy to enjoy was the agua de ensalada which is a fresh fruit water..... this is a must... drink it and enjoy !!!!! It's life !!! -

Ok for starters this is definitely a place you want to Call in for a to go order
Being that the Pupusa's are made to order that is a slow process which is very understandable but that is the only negative about this for myself because I had somewhere to be ...30 minutes for 5 pupusa's on a weekday with no one inside was a bit much ....
I will say though those freshly made pupusa's were well worth the wait ! Steaming hot crisp and well made
Would recommend but def will be calling in next time in hindsight of the process -

My boyfriend and I noticed this place a few months ago and finally got a chance to try it this morning for an early lunch! It was amazing! We ordered a few pupusas (chicharron and cheese, chicken, and beans and cheese), and the rice and beans. The filling in the pupusas have delicious flavor and it came with a crunchy cabbage slaw that you pile on top. I loved that the pupusas weren't greasy. I was also surprised at the size of them. They were bigger than I thought they would be. Great amount of food for the price! Our whole bill for 5 pupusas and a side of rice and beans was $17.
When we walked in the place was packed. There weren't any seats left so we were going to take it to go, but the server (who I assume is the owner) told us there was outdoor seating available. We checked it out and changed our order for dine in. The patio area is a cute little space with a few picnic style tables and metal patio chairs and tables with umbrellas. It was perfect for a sunny Winter afternoon. It wasn't too cold and actually perfect for a light lunch.
We will definitely be back to try some other things on their menus such as the tamales and drinks. So happy to have found this authentic little gem in the small town of Hanford!
Update: We actually went back today and tried the chicken tamal and the pastelitos (chicken pot pies), the Jamaica drink, and of course more pupusas!
The tamal is not like the traditional Mexican tamales. It's wrapped in a banana leaf and the masa doesn't have as much seasoning, so it's lighter in color. That doesn't take away from the flavor though. It was still very delicious. The chicken in the tamal was not shredded but instead chunks of chicken breast.
The pot pies were very tasty as well. They were served with a side of the cabbage slaw. Again, I loved that it wasn't greasy. It was perfectly crispy and had wonderful flavor.
The Jamaica was very refreshing and light as well. We loved it all and will definitely be back!
